Kara Mitchell to Speak as Featured Guest at Central Connecticut State University
Mintz + Hoke Principal of Client Service to Provide Insight to Consumer Behavior Marketing Class
Mintz + Hoke is pleased to announce that Principal of Client Service, Kara Mitchell, will be a guest speaker in Professor Jared Chase’s Consumer Behavior Marketing Class at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU).
Mitchell will be speaking to the undergraduate class about how to use quantitative and qualitative data in the marketing and advertising industry. She will discuss utilizing data to evaluate campaigns and determine return on investment (ROI). Mitchell will also give the students a deeper understanding of how to look at the data differently while mapping out the customer journey and leveraging that data to truly comprehend the customer experience. Imparting that knowledge will provide students with a holistic view of the customer experience and in turn, a better understanding of which marketing tactics to use on certain points throughout that journey.
“Marketers should leverage data to learn more about a customer,” said Mitchell. “As we think about consumer behavior, considering all types of data, both qualitative and quantitative, to help inform a customer’s experience is powerful. Data is delivering rich intel around how a customer behaves or how they self-identify. This can provide a great starting point for a discussion around audience segmentation and how to better tailor audience messaging and targeting in the future.”
In Mitchell’s current role, she leads the account service teams to identify and launch integrated strategies and solutions for a variety of clients while extending the agency's reach by growing their roster of client brands.
Mitchell will visit the CCSU class on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
