Mintz + Hoke Named 'Best Places to Work' Awards Finalist for Eighth Consecutive Year
AVON, Conn. (March 3, 2023) — Mintz + Hoke is honored to announce the agency’s selection as a finalist in the Hartford Business Journal and New Haven Biz's Best Places to Work in Connecticut Awards for the eighth year in a row.
This year, the award honors companies striving to find creative, strategic, and safe ways to make work fun, as well as prioritize inclusion and encourage employee growth.
Since its founding in 1971, the agency has fostered a people-first culture by putting a lens on DEIB and work-life balance. From hiring women in leadership roles to being an inclusive employer, to its unlimited PTO model and various team events and internal clubs, Mintz + Hoke works continuously to create a positive work environment and cultivate a strong sense of community within the agency.
Mintz + Hoke employees at the Best Places to Work Awards celebration held March 2 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.
“Mintz + Hoke is an agency that genuinely cares about its people,” said Motti Zaretsky, Motion Designer. “I’ve seen the agency go out of its way time and time again to make sure its people are respected and taken care of. It’s an amazing and wonderful thing to be a part of!”
By creating an inclusive culture where employees feel supported and empowered to recharge and share their interests and hobbies with their coworkers, the Mintz + Hoke team can bring the best version of themselves to their clients and their work.
Participating companies went through a two-part workplace assessment process involving an employer questionnaire about benefits, policies and more, as well as a confidential employee engagement and satisfaction survey, all of which were analyzed by Workforce Research Group.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a publicly or privately held business, either for-profit or not-for-profit
- Have a facility in Connecticut
- Have at least 15 employees working in Connecticut
