Mintz + Hoke Named ‘Best Places to Work’ Awards Finalist
Mintz + Hoke is proud to announce the agency was selected as a finalist in the New Haven Biz and Hartford Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in CT Awards for the seventh year in a row.
“Our great culture and our great employees are the reason we have been honored with this award for seven consecutive years,” said Chief Executive Officer, Ron Perine. “It’s the wonderful work our employees do for our clients day in and day out that continues to engage and challenge them on all levels, making Mintz + Hoke one of the best places to work in Connecticut.”
This annual award honors companies who rank highest in employee satisfaction as determined by surveys administered by the Best Companies Group, a third-party research firm out of Harrisburg, Penn.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the best places to work in Connecticut. The first part evaluated each company’s workplace policies, practices and benefits. The second part consisted of a confidential employee survey to measure employee engagement and satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

“I think we continue to receive this award because we listen and hear what our employees need when it comes to changes in the workplace for a better work/life balance. We continue to evolve and improve our benefits to better suit our team’s needs,” said Director of Employee Engagement, Christine Millette. “We also give everyone a seat at the table when it comes to making improvements. At the same time, our work continues to be challenging and motivating so you’re getting the best of both worlds.”
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in Connecticut
- Have at least 15 employees in Connecticut
- Be in business a minimum of one year
One of the agency’s core values is to always bring a gift. Whether it’s in the form of an idea, a point-of-view or some other way to over-deliver, the Mintz + Hoke team constantly strives to go above and beyond for our clients and partners, further proving it is the best people who make the best places to work.
